July 2008 -
I have been playing concerts around the south with CCM artists
Kim Hill, Ashley Cleveland, and Susan Ashton.
I have also been asked to play with Tourniquet at Flevo Fest in Holland next month which
should be alot of fun. I haven't seen the Tourniquet guys since 1997 when I played on
their Crawl To China album, and I haven't played the Flevo Fest since 1992 with Stryper,
so I am looking forward to the trip.
May 2008 -
I regret to announce that I will NOT be participating as bassplayer for John Schlitt as
was stated in January. I had been hired as John Schlitts bassplayer and Music Director by
Fused Management LLC (Johns Managment.) I had a formal meeting with John, Fused, and
a new band, at which time we had scheduled rehearsals. I was given Johns 3 solo albums
plus a CD of Petra songs to learn and rehearse. We had talked about the upcoming tour
schedule in the U.S which would mainly be weekend concerts in churches. After the meeting
I was told by Fused to go ahead and start promoting my new position as bassplayer on my
personal website, Shoutlife, Myspace, and Facebook, as they wanted to create a buzz in the
industry about Johns new solo album which was just weeks away from release. But several
months had passed with no concert dates booked, so by this time most of the band had gone
separate directions as they needed to work and we were not put on a retainer.
In March 2008, I was contacted by Fused about doing a 2 week long tour of India. I declined to do the tour because of security issues and Fused Managements lack of experience.
So I must apologize to my friends and fans out there for leading you on to believe that this was all good and going to happen. I have received tons of email about how excited many of you were. I don't hold any fault against John Schlitt. I wish him much success in his future endeavors and hope that he can get a US tour happening soon.

Irene has finally been able to go to physical therapy and she seems to be doing much
better with her back pain. She has even started back to work on 1/2 days for the beginning
of the month and recently was able to work a full day with out too much pain. Plese
continue to pray for her.
December 2007 -
Merry Christmas!! Wow, I turned 45 on the 15th. Can't believe I am this old. It happens
though, and it creeps up on you... before you know it you're an old man.
The last 2 months have been pretty busy for me as far as session work and demos. I even managed to get a few live gigs in playing with the Chris Eddy band, Al Perkins and the High Power band, 2 Christmas Eve concerts with Grace Chapel, my wife Irene Kelly, and a couple of benefit concerts to help raise money for local folks to pay medical bills.
I spent most of November and December helping my wife recover from a back injury and from surgery to have a tumor removed from her shoulder. The surgery went well and the tumor was benign, but the back injury has been a long slow process. She has literally been laid up in bed for 2 months now. Please pray for healing.

I am offering again my online bass demo
service. If you would like to have me play fretted or fretless bass on your demo, I
charge only $100 a song, and I accept payment through Paypal.
Files will be recorded and saved in WAV or AIFF formats, and uploaded to an online server
for your convenience. They may then be downloaded by you and inserted into your recording
project.
My recording equipment consists of a PC Windows XP OS, Steinberg Nuendo and Cubase
software with tons of plug ins, Universal Audio LA-610 Preamp/Compressor, Tascam FW-1884
mixing console. My studio basses are '59 Fender Precision bass, '78 Musicman Stingray, and
a '79 custom made fretless bass that I call a Jazzray. They will be recorded direct to my
hardrive through the LA-610 and to the mixing console.
I specialize in Acoustic, Rock, Blues, R&B, Soul, Finger Funk, CCM, Gospel, Country,
and Jazz. I am trying to stay away from hardcore metal, punk, rap and hip hop.
I review all material before I decide to take on a project so please drop me an email at BassDemos@yahoo.com if you are interested.
August 2007 -
I have decided to go back to school after 26 years. I have enrolled at Calvary Chapel Bible College and will be working on a degree in theology. This is something that I have wanted to do for years but have not had the time to devote. I sense God is calling me into a greater knowledge and relationship with Him. I also sense that I am being called into some form of Pastoral ministry, so who knows you may be calling me "Pastor Tim" someday?
July 2007 -
Cruise to Bermuda - Irene and I took a 7 day cruise to Bermuda. It was great except for the sunburn!!
April/May 2007 -
Richard Marx Tour - I was the touring bass player for the Richard Marx band from the end of April through the middle of May. Coming to a Casino near you!! Hey you gotta love a bunch of 70 year olds on oxygen yelling at the girls in the front row to sit down. The highlite of the tour was a weekend in the Dominican Republic and Trinidad. We had 30,000 in the audience (reminded me of the old days with Stryper.) Overall it was a fun tour and Richard and the band and crew were great. Made a few new friends along the way too.
